Breide is a native Dubliner, born and raised in the Liberties, perhaps the most ancient and historical area of the City.  Surrounded by many of Ireland’s architectural treasures, this has had a core influence on her appreciation of art and culture.  She has always had a great love of art in all its forms but it is only in recent years that she has had the time to devote herself to her first love – creating beautiful oil paintings

Breide has spent her career as a Director in the development and success of many businesses, travelling extensively and always broadening her artistic horizons. She is a Director of Southpark Galleries, Ireland’s newest online Art Gallery.  Southpark Galleries feature many of Breide’s Art works and works of some of the world’s most famous artists.

Breide’s first solo exhibition was held in 1999 and was a complete sell-out.  Since then Breide has had many exhibitions and she has enjoyed critical acclaim.  Many of her paintings have been commissioned by overseas buyers and adorn homes in New York, Milan, Hawaii, Beverly Hills, London, Japan, Dublin and Ireland.  Her art has been featured many times on television.

Breide is a keen supporter of Charities.  In 2001 she  used her talents to paint,  produce and sell Christmas Cards for The Dublin Simon Community for the homeless of Dublin.   To date she has raised over €65,000.00 for Dublin Simon with her annual Christmas Card Appeal for the Homeless of Dublin.

Her most recent exhibition was held in July 2009 at the famous Skerries Mills, Co. Dublin with visitors from all over the world and her most recent paintings now adorn homes throughout Europe, America and Canada.  A unique feature of this exhibition is a large collection of Irish Landscapes.
